blasted. i paid $10 for a grandstand ticket in anticipation of a whole series of pwning goals from Australia at the SG-AUS friendly today. but the field was too waterlogged for optimal perfomance. therefore, a disappointing 0-0 end to the match.
so pictures shall take over most of what i have to say, because honestly, i dont know anything about soccer. haha for goodness sakes, i dont even understand the whole concept of ‘offside’. to me, a free kick is just a useless version of a penalty. ahh whatever.
the socceroos are a handsome bunch though! haha or maybe they just look better far away.
the last shots of the national stadium. how ironic to still be having matches in that ancient rickety place even after the grand finale. but it does bring back memories of performing NDP in sec 1, and that insane tutu outfit that we had to wear.
and they’re out!
lol then it got really boring, so i decided to turn my camera lens on the amusing aussie kids in front. hahaha they are so cute i just want to kidnap them home. the little boy in his oversized rugby jersey was simply shoving food down all throughout the match: keropok, apples, orange juice, lollipops, and still complained that he was hungry.
ahh maybe i will just settle with live broadcasts of S-league matches on tv, because i seem to have better luck catching the goal moments than at the stadium itself.
